Privacy policy

Diet list collects and stores (minimal) information about its users through its contact forms and site comments (only if used).

The data is provided by the user and includes the name, email and user's website (optional). This information is used for communication between the website's authors/editors and the user himself. It's not shared with anyone (other users, third parties etc.).

The only piece of information that is stored without user input is his/her IP address and only on article's comment form. The IP is logged and stored along with the user's name, email and comment, only to be used by the administrator(s) of Diet list. For instance, the IP address is commonly used to block a user from commenting articles in case of comment abuse (e.g. spam).

The user's email and IP address are not published.

We use Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a service (by Google) that tracks and reports website traffic and provides important information about website visitors (that's you). Whenever someone visits a website that uses Google Analytics (like dietlist.gr), Google tracks Information like how the visitor came to the site, what pages were visited, what type of computer he/she used (e.g. laptop, smartphone, etc.) and much more.

This information is important because it allows website owners and publishers (that's us) to better understand which users visit dietlist.gr and what content they are interested in. This is essential in order to improve the design and content of Diet list and write better articles.

Google Analytics data is non-personally identifiable information, we're not sharing it with third parties and it's strictly used for dietlist.gr optimization and improvement.

If you want to prevent the use of your data from Google Analytics, Google provides a browser add-on (more info).
